Thessalonians 5:1-9
But concerningG4012 the timesG2540 and the seasonsG2540, brethren, ye have no needG5532 that aught be writtenG1125 unto you.
For yourselves know perfectly that the dayG2250 of the LordG2962 soG3779 cometh as a thiefG2812 in the nightG3571.
WhenG3752 they are sayingG3004, PeaceG1515 and safety, then sudden destructionG3639 cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall in no wise escapeG1628.
But ye, brethren, areG1510 not in darknessG4655, that that dayG2250 should overtake you as a thiefG2812:
for ye areG1510 all sonsG5207 of lightG5457, and sonsG5207 of the dayG2250: we areG1510 not of the nightG3571, nor of darknessG4655;
so then let us not sleepG2518, as do the restG3062, but let us watchG1127 and be soberG3525.
For they that sleepG2518 sleepG2518 in the nightG3571; and they that are drunken are drunken in the nightG3571.
But let us, since we areG1510 of the dayG2250, beG1510 soberG3525, putting on the breastplateG2382 of faithG4102 and loveG26; and for a helmetG4030, the hopeG1680 of salvationG4991.
For GodG2316 appointedG5087 us not unto wrathG3709, but unto the obtainingG4047 of salvationG4991 through our LordG2962 JesusG2424 ChristG5547,
