14And themenהָֽאֲנָשִׁ֖יםha.'a.na.ShimH582tookוַיִּקְח֥וּvai.yik.ChuH3947of theirprovisionsמִצֵּידָ֑םmi.tzei.DamH6718, andaskedשָׁאָֽלוּ׃sha.'A.luH7592not counsel at themouthפִּ֥יpiH6310of theLORDיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068.

15AndJoshuaיְהוֹשֻׁ֙עַ֙ye.ho.Shu.a'H3091madeוַיַּ֨עַשׂvai.Ya.'asH6213peaceשָׁל֔וֹםsha.LomH7965with them, andmadeוַיִּכְרֹ֥תvai.yikh.RotH3772aleagueבְּרִ֖יתbe.RitH1285with them, to let themliveלְחַיּוֹתָ֑םle.chai.yo.TamH2421: and theprincesנְשִׂיאֵ֖יne.si.'EiH5387of thecongregationהָעֵדָֽה׃ha.'e.DahH5712sworeוַיִּשָּׁבְע֣וּvai.yi.sha.ve.'UH7650to them.

18And thechildrenבְּנֵ֣יbe.NeiH1121ofIsraelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478smoteהִכּוּם֙hi.KumH5221them not, because theprincesנְשִׂיאֵ֣יne.si.'EiH5387of thecongregationהָֽעֵדָ֔הha.'e.DahH5712hadswornנִשְׁבְּע֤וּnish.be.'UH7650to them by theLORDבַּֽיהוָ֖הba.Yah.wehH3068Godאֱלֹהֵ֣י'e.lo.HeiH430ofIsraelיִשְׂרָאֵ֑לYis.ra.'ElH3478.
