8In hisdaysבְּיָמָיו֙be.ya.MavH3117theEdomitesאֱד֔וֹם'e.DomH123revoltedפָּשַׁ֣עpa.Sha'H6586from under thedominionיַד־yad-H3027ofJudahיְהוּדָ֑הye.hu.DahH3063, andmadeוַיַּמְלִ֥יכוּvai.yam.Li.khuH4427themselves akingמֶֽלֶךְ׃Me.lekhH4428.

9ThenJehoramיְהוֹרָם֙ye.ho.RamH3088wentforthוַיַּֽעֲבֹ֤רvai.ya.'a.VorH5674with hisprincesשָׂרָ֔יוsa.RavH8269, and all hischariotsהָרֶ֖כֶבha.Re.khevH7393with him: and heroseקָ֣םkamH6965bynightלַ֔יְלָהLay.lahH3915, andsmoteוַיַּ֗ךְvai.YakhH5221theEdomitesאֱדוֹם֙'e.dOmH123who surroundedhimהַסּוֹבֵ֣בha.so.VevH5437, and thecaptainsשָׂרֵ֥יsa.ReiH8269of thechariotsהָרָֽכֶב׃ha.Ra.khevH7393.
