Revised Version 1895
Jeremiah 30:4-11
And theseH428 are the wordsH1697 that the LORDH3068 spake concerning IsraelH3478 and concerning JudahH3063.
For thusH3541 saith the LORDH3068: WeH3588 have heardH8085 a voiceH6963 of tremblingH2731, of fearH6343, and notH369 of peaceH7965.
AskH7592 ye nowH4994, and seeH7200 whetherH518 a manH1397 doth travail with childH3205: wherefore doH518 I seeH7200 everyH3605 manH1397 with his handsH3027 on his loinsH2504, as a woman in travail, and allH3605 facesH6440 are turnedH2015 intoH5921 paleness?
AlasH1945! for that dayH3117 is greatH1419, soH4480 that noneH369 is like it: it is evenH3588 the time of Jacob’sH3290 troubleH6869; but he shall be savedH3467 outH4480 of it.
And it shall comeH1961 to passH1961 in that dayH3117, saith the LORDH3068 of hostsH6635, that I will breakH7665 his yokeH5923 from offH5921 thy neckH6677, and will burstH5423 thy bandsH4147; and strangersH2114 shall noH3808 moreH5750 serveH5647 themselvesH5921 of him:
but they shall serveH5647 the LORDH3068 their GodH430, and DavidH1732 their kingH4428, whomH834 I will raiseH6965 upH6965 unto them.
Therefore fearH3372 thou notH369, O JacobH3290 my servantH5650, saith the LORDH3068; neitherH369 be dismayedH2865, O IsraelH3478: for, loH2005, I will saveH3467 thee from afarH7350, and thy seedH2233 from the landH776 of their captivityH7628; and JacobH3290 shall returnH7725, and shall be quietH8252 and at easeH7599, and noneH369 shall makeH2729 him afraidH3372.
For I am with thee, saith the LORDH3068, to saveH3467 thee: for I will makeH6213 a fullH3605 endH3617 of allH3605 the nationsH1471 whither I have scatteredH6327 thee, but I will notH3808 makeH6213 a fullH3605 endH3617 of thee; but I will correctH3256 thee with judgmentH4941, and will in noH3808 wise leaveH5352 thee unpunishedH5352.
