16Andkingהַמֶּ֧לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428Solomonשְׁלֹמֹ֛הshe.lo.MohH8010madeוַיַּ֨עַשׂvai.Ya.'asH6213twoH3967hundredH3967targets of beatengoldזָהָ֣בza.HavH2091:sixשֵׁשׁ־shesh-H8337hundredH3967shekels ofgoldזָהָ֔בza.HavH2091wentיַעֲלֶ֖הya.'a.LehH5927to one target.

19There weresixשֵׁ֧שׁsheshH8337stepsמַעֲל֣וֹתma.'a.LotH4609to thethroneלַכִּסֵּ֗הla.ki.SehH3678, and thetopוְרֹאשׁ־ve.rosh-H7218of thethroneלַכִּסֵּה֙la.ki.SehH3678wasroundעָגֹ֤ל'a.GolH5696behindמֵאַֽחֲרָ֔יוme.'a.cha.RavH310: and there werestaysוְיָדֹ֛תve.ya.DotH3027oneitherמִזֶּ֥הmi.ZehH2088sideוּמִזֶּ֖הu.mi.ZehH2088by theplaceמְק֣וֹםme.KomH4725of theseatH3678, andtwoוּשְׁנַ֣יִםu.she.Na.yimH8147lionsאֲרָי֔וֹת'a.ra.YotH738standingעֹמְדִ֖ים'o.me.DimH5975besideאֵ֥צֶל'E.tzelH681thestaysהַיָּדֽוֹת׃hai.ya.DotH3027.

26AndSolomonשְׁלֹמֹה֮she.lo.MohH8010gatheredוַיֶּאֱסֹ֣ףvai.ye.'e.SofH622togetherH622chariotsרֶ֣כֶבRe.khevH7393andhorsemenוּפָרָשִׁים֒u.fa.ra.ShimH6571: and he had athousandאֶ֤לֶף'E.lefH505andfourוְאַרְבַּע־ve.'ar.ba'-H702hundredמֵאוֹת֙me.'OtH3967chariotsרֶ֔כֶבRe.khevH7393, andtwelveעָשָׂ֥ר'a.SarH6240thousandאֶ֖לֶף'E.lefH505horsemenפָּֽרָשִׁ֑יםpa.ra.ShimH6571, which he bestowed in thechariotהָרֶ֔כֶבha.Re.khevH7393citiesבְּעָרֵ֣יbe.'a.ReiH5892, and with thekingהַמֶּ֖לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428atJerusalemבִּירוּשָׁלִָֽם׃bi.ru.sha.LimH3389.

27And thekingהַמֶּ֧לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428madeוַיִּתֵּ֨ןvai.yi.TenH5414silverהַכֶּ֛סֶףha.Ke.sefH3701to be inJerusalemבִּירוּשָׁלִַ֖םbi.ru.sha.LimH3389asstonesכָּאֲבָנִ֑יםka.'a.va.NimH68, andcedarsהָאֲרָזִ֗יםha.'a.ra.ZimH730madeנָתַ֛ןna.TanH5414he to be as the sycomoretreesכַּשִּׁקְמִ֥יםka.shik.MimH8256that are in thelowlandבַּשְּׁפֵלָ֖הba.she.fe.LahH8219, forabundanceלָרֹֽב׃la.RoH7230.

28And thehorsesהַסּוּסִ֛יםha.su.SimH5483whichאֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834Solomonלִשְׁלֹמֹ֖הlish.lo.MohH8010had werebroughtH3947out ofEgyptמִמִּצְרָ֑יִםmi.mitz.Ra.yimH4714; and theking’sהַמֶּ֔לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428merchantsסֹחֲרֵ֣יso.cha.ReiH5503receivedH3947them in droves, each drove at apriceבִּמְחִֽיר׃bim.ChirH4242.
