8So RabshakehH7262returnedוַיָּ֙שָׁב֙vai.Ya.shovH7725,and foundוַיִּמְצָא֙vai.yim.Tza'H4672the kingמֶ֣לֶךְMe.lekhH4428of Assyriaאַשּׁ֔וּר'a.ShurH804warringנִלְחָ֖םnil.ChamH3898against Libnahלִבְנָ֑הliv.NahH3841:for he had heardשָׁמַ֔עsha.Ma'H8085that he was departedנָסַ֖עna.Sa'H5265from Lachishמִלָּכִֽישׁ׃mi.la.KhishH3923.

26Hast thou not heardשָׁמַ֤עְתָּsha.Ma'.taH8085long agoלְמֵֽרָחוֹק֙le.me.ra.chOkH7350, howI have doneעָשִׂ֔יתִי'a.Si.tiH6213it; andof ancientקֶ֖דֶםKe.demH6924timesמִ֥ימֵיMi.meiH3117,that I have formedוִיצַרְתִּ֑יהָvi.tzar.Ti.haH3335it? now have I broughtהֲבֵאתִ֔יהָha.ve.Ti.haH935it to pass, that thou shouldest be to lay wasteלְהַשְׁא֛וֹתle.hash.'otH7582defencedבְּצֻרֽוֹת׃be.tzu.RotH1219citiesעָרִ֥ים'a.RimH5892intoruinousנִצִּ֖יםni.TzimH5327heapsגַּלִּ֥יםga.LimH1530.

28But I knowיָדָ֑עְתִּיya.Da.'e.tiH3045thy abodeוְשִׁבְתְּךָ֛ve.shiv.te.KhaH3427,and thy going outוְצֵאתְךָ֥ve.tze.te.KhaH3318,and thy coming inוּבוֹאֲךָ֖u.vo.'a.KhaH935,and thy rageהִֽתְרַגֶּזְךָ֥hit.ra.gez.KhaH7264against me.
