3Who isleftהַנִּשְׁאָ֔רha.nish.'ArH7604among you that sawרָאָה֙ra.'AhH7200this houseהַבַּ֣יִתha.Ba.yitH1004in her firstהָרִאשׁ֑וֹןha.ri.ShonH7223gloryבִּכְבוֹד֖וֹbikh.vo.DoH3519?and how do ye seeרֹאִ֤יםro.'ImH7200it now? is itnot in your eyesבְּעֵינֵיכֶֽם׃be.'ei.nei.KhemH5869in comparisonכָמֹ֛הוּkha.Mo.huH3644of it as nothing?

6For thus saithאָמַר֙'a.MarH559Yhwhיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068of Armiesצְבָא֔וֹתtze.va.'otH6635;Yet onceאַחַ֖ת'a.ChatH259, it isa little whileמְעַ֣טme.'AtH4592,and I will shakeמַרְעִישׁ֙mar.'IshH7493the heavensהַשָּׁמַ֣יִםha.sha.Ma.yimH8064,and the earthהָאָ֔רֶץha.'A.retzH776,and the seaהַיָּ֖םhai.YamH3220,and the dryהֶחָרָבָֽה׃he.cha.ra.VahH2724land;

13Then saidוַיֹּ֣אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559Haggaiחַגַּ֔יcha.GaiH2292, If one that isuncleanטְמֵא־te.me'-H2931by a dead bodyנֶ֛פֶשׁNe.feshH5315touchיִגַּ֧עyi.Ga'H5060any of these, shall it be uncleanהֲיִטְמָ֑אha.yit.Ma'H2930?And the priestsהַכֹּהֲנִ֛יםha.ko.ha.NimH3548answeredוַיַּעֲנ֧וּvai.ya.'a.NuH6030and saidוַיֹּאמְר֖וּvai.yo.me.RuH559,It shall be uncleanיִטְמָֽא׃yit.Ma'H2930.

14Then answeredוַיַּ֨עַןvai.Ya.'anH6030Haggaiחַגַּ֜יcha.GaiH2292,and saidוַיֹּ֗אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, So isthis peopleהָֽעָם־ha.'om-H5971, and so isthis nationהַגּ֨וֹיha.GoyH1471beforeלְפָנַי֙le.fa.NaiH6440me, saithנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002Yhwhיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068; and so isevery workמַעֲשֵׂ֣הma.'a.SehH4639of their handsיְדֵיהֶ֑םye.dei.HemH3027;and that which they offerיַקְרִ֛יבוּyak.Ri.vuH7126there isuncleanטָמֵ֥אta.Me'H2931.

15And now, I pray you, considerשִֽׂימוּ־ לְבַבְכֶ֔םsi.mu- le.vav.KhemH3824 H7760from this dayהַיּ֥וֹםhai.YomH3117and upwardוָמָ֑עְלָהva.Ma.'e.lahH4605,from beforeמִטֶּ֧רֶםmi.Te.remH2962a stoneאֶ֛בֶן'E.venH68was laidשֽׂוּם־sum-H7760upon a stoneאֶ֖בֶן'E.venH68in the templeבְּהֵיכַ֥לbe.hei.KhalH1964of Yhwhיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068:
