31And they smoteוַיַּכּ֞וּvai.ya.KuH5221the Philistinesבַּפְּלִשְׁתִּ֔יםba.pe.lish.TimH6430that dayבַּיּ֤וֹםbai.YomH3117from Michmashמִמִּכְמָ֖שׂmi.mikh.MasH4363to Aijalonאַיָּלֹ֑נָה'ai.ya.Lo.nahH357:and the peopleהָעָ֖םha.'AmH5971were veryמְאֹֽד׃me.'OdH3966faintH5774.

36And Saulשָׁא֡וּלsha.'UlH7586saidוַיֹּ֣אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559,Let us go downנֵרְדָ֣הne.re.DahH3381afterאַחֲרֵי֩'a.cha.ReiH310the Philistinesפְלִשְׁתִּ֨ים׀fe.lish.TimH6430by nightלַ֜יְלָהLay.lahH3915,and spoilוְֽנָבֹ֥זָהve.na.Vo.zahH962them until the morningהַבֹּ֗קֶרha.Bo.kerH1242lightא֣וֹר'orH216,and let us not leaveנַשְׁאֵ֤רnash.'ErH7604a manאִ֔ישׁ'IshH376of them. 39For, asYhwhיְהוָ֗הYah.wehH3068livethחַי־chai-H2416,which savethהַמּוֹשִׁ֙יעַ֙ha.mo.Shi.a'H3467Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478,though it beיֶשְׁנ֛וֹyesh.NoH3426in Jonathanבְּיוֹנָתָ֥ןbe.yo.na.TanH3129my sonבְּנִ֖יbe.NiH1121,he shall surelyמ֣וֹתMotH4191dieיָמ֑וּתya.MutH4191. But there wasnot a man among all the peopleהָעָֽם׃ha.'AmH5971thatansweredעֹנֵ֖הוּ'o.Ne.huH6030him.

42And Saulשָׁא֔וּלsha.'UlH7586saidוַיֹּ֣אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559,Castהַפִּ֕ילוּha.Pi.luH5307lotsbetween me and Jonathanיוֹנָתָ֣ןyo.na.TanH3129my sonבְּנִ֑יbe.NiH1121.And Jonathanיוֹנָתָֽן׃yo.na.TanH3129was takenוַיִּלָּכֵ֖דvai.yi.la.KhedH3920.
