Numbers 30:6-16
6“However, ifH518 she happensH1961 to 1marryH1961H376 while 2underH5921 her vowsH5088 orH176 the impulsiveH4008 statementH4008 of her lipsH8193 by whichH834 she has obligatedH631 herselfH5315, 7and her husbandH376 hearsH8085 of it and saysH2790 nothingH2790 to her on the dayH3117 he hearsH8085 it, then her vowsH5088 shall remainH6965 validH6965 and her bindingH632 obligationsH632 underH631 whichH834 she has putH631 herselfH5315 shall remainH6965 validH6965. 8But ifH518 on the dayH3117 her husbandH376 hearsH8085 of it, he expressesH5106 disapprovalH5106 to her, then he will annulH6565 her vowH5088 whichH834 3she is underH5921 and the impulsiveH4008 statementH4008 of her lipsH8193 by whichH834 she has obligatedH631 herselfH5315; and the LordH3068 will 4forgiveH5545 her.
9“But as for the vowH5088 of a widowH490 or of a divorcedH1644 woman, everyH3605 bindingH631 obligationH631 underH631 whichH834 she has putH631 herselfH5315, shall remainH6965 validH6965 againstH5921 her. 10However, ifH518 a married woman vowedH5087 in her husband’sH376 houseH1004, orH176 putH631 herselfH5315 underH631 a bindingH632 obligationH632 with an oathH7621, 11and her husbandH376 heardH8085 it, but saidH2790 nothingH2790 to her and did not expressH5106 disapprovalH5106 to her, then allH3605 her vowsH5088 shall remainH6965 validH6965 and everyH3605 bindingH632 obligationH632 underH631 whichH834 she putH631 herselfH5315 shall remainH6965 validH6965. 12But ifH518 her husbandH376 actuallyH6565 annulsH6565 them on the dayH3117 he hearsH8085 them, then noH3808H3605 utteranceH4161 from her lipsH8193 concerning her vowsH5088 or the obligationH632 she put on herselfH5315 shall remainH6965 validH6965; her husbandH376 has annulledH6565 them, and the LordH3068 will 5forgiveH5545 her.
13“EveryH3605 vowH5088 and everyH3605 bindingH632 oathH7621 to humbleH6031 herselfH5315, her husbandH376 may confirmH6965 it or her husbandH376 may annulH6565 it. 14But ifH518 her husbandH376 inH2790 factH2790 saysH2790 nothingH2790 to her from dayH3117 to dayH3117, then he confirmsH6965 allH3605 her vowsH5088 orH176 allH3605 her bindingH632 obligationsH632 whichH834 are on her; he has confirmedH6965 them, becauseH3588 he saidH2790 nothingH2790 to her on the dayH3117 he heardH8085 them. 15However, ifH518 he actuallyH6565 annulsH6565 them 6afterH310 he has heardH8085 them, then he shall bearH5375 the responsibility for her guiltH5771.”
16TheseH428 are the statutesH2706 whichH834 the LordH3068 commandedH6680 MosesH4872 concerning matters betweenH996 a manH376 and his wifeH802, and betweenH996 a fatherH1 and his daughterH1323 while she is in her youthH5271 in her father’sH1 houseH1004.
