Numbers 11:18-35
18And you shall sayH559 to the peopleH5971, ‘1ConsecrateH6942 yourselves for tomorrowH4279, and you shall eatH398 meatH1320; for you have weptH1058 2in the earsH241 of the LordH3068, sayingH559, “3OhH4310 that someoneH4310 would give us meatH1320 to eatH398! For we were well-offH2895 in EgyptH4714.” Therefore the LordH3068 will giveH5414 you meatH1320 and you shall eatH398. 19You shall eatH398, not oneH259 dayH3117, norH3808 two daysH3117, norH3808 fiveH2568 daysH3117, norH3808 tenH6235 daysH3117, norH3808 twentyH6242 daysH3117, 204but for a wholeH3117 monthH2320, untilH5704H834 it comesH3318 outH3318 of your noseH639 and 5makesH1961 you nauseatedH2214; becauseH3282H3588 6you have rejectedH3988 the LordH3068 whoH834 is amongH7130 you and have weptH1058 beforeH6440 Him, sayingH559, “WhyH4100 did we everH2088 leaveH3318H4480 EgyptH4714?”’” 21But MosesH4872 saidH559, “The peopleH5971, amongH7130 whomH834 I am included, are sixH8337 hundredH3967 thousandH505 on footH7273! Yet You have saidH559, ‘I will giveH5414 them meatH1320, so that they may eatH398 for a wholeH3117 monthH2320.’ 22Are flocksH6629 and herdsH1241 to be slaughteredH7819 for them, so that it will beH4672 sufficientH4672 for them? OrH518 are allH3605 the fishH1709 of the seaH3220 to be 7caughtH622 for them, so that it will beH4672 sufficientH4672 for them?” 23Then the LordH3068 saidH559 to MosesH4872, “Is 8the Lord’sH3068 9powerH3027 tooH7114 littleH7114? NowH6258 you shall seeH7200 whether 10My wordH1697 will 11comeH7136 trueH7136 for you orH518 not.”
24So MosesH4872 wentH3318 outH3318 and 12toldH1696 the peopleH5971 the wordsH1697 of the LordH3068. He also gatheredH622 seventyH7657 menH376 of the eldersH2205 of the peopleH5971, and positionedH5975 them aroundH5439 the tentH168. 2513Then the LordH3068 cameH3381 downH3381 in the cloudH6051 and spokeH1696 to him; and He tookH680 awayH680 someH4480 of the SpiritH7307 whoH834 was upon him and placedH5414 Him upon the seventyH7657 eldersH376H2205. And when the SpiritH7307 restedH5117 upon them, they prophesiedH5012. Yet they did not doH3254 it againH3254.
26But twoH8147 menH376 had remainedH7604 in the campH4264; the nameH8034 of the oneH259 was EldadH419, and the nameH8034 of the 14otherH8145, MedadH4312. And 15the SpiritH7307 restedH5117 upon them (and they were among those who had been registeredH3789, but had not goneH3318 outH3318 to the tentH168), and they prophesiedH5012 in the campH4264. 27So a youngH5288 manH5288 ranH7323 and informedH5046 MosesH4872, and saidH559, “EldadH419 and MedadH4312 are prophesyingH5012 in the campH4264.” 28Then 16JoshuaH3091 the sonH1121 of NunH5126, the personalH8334 servantH8334 of MosesH4872 from his youthH979, respondedH6030 and saidH559, “17My lordH113 MosesH4872, restrainH3607 them!” 29But MosesH4872 saidH559 to him, “AreH7065 you jealousH7065 for my sake? 18IfH4310H5414 onlyH4310H5414 allH3605 the Lord’sH3068 peopleH5971 were prophetsH5030, that the LordH3068 would putH5414 His SpiritH7307 upon them!” 30Then MosesH4872 19returnedH622 to the campH4264, both he and the eldersH2205 of IsraelH3478.
3120Now a windH7307 burstH5265 forthH5265 from the LordH3068 and it broughtH1468 quailH7958 from the seaH3220, and droppedH5203 them besideH5921 the campH4264, about a day’sH3117 journeyH1870 on thisH3541 side and a day’sH3117 journeyH1870 on the otherH3541 side allH5439 aroundH5439 the campH4264, and about 21two cubitsH520 deep on the surfaceH6440 of the groundH776. 32And the peopleH5971 22spentH6965 allH3605 that dayH3117, allH3605 nightH3915, and allH3605 the nextH4283 dayH3117, and they gatheredH622 the quailH7958 (the one who gatheredH4591 leastH4591 gatheredH622 23tenH6235 24homersH2563) and spreadH7849 them outH7849 for themselves allH5439 aroundH5439 the campH4264. 3325While the meatH1320 was stillH5750 betweenH996 their teethH8127, beforeH2962 it was chewedH3772, the angerH639 of the LordH3068 was kindledH2734 against the peopleH5971, and the LordH3068 struckH5221 the peopleH5971 with a veryH3966 severeH7227 plagueH4347. 34So that placeH4725 was namedH7121H8034 2627Kibroth-hattaavahH6914, becauseH3588 thereH8033 they buriedH6912 the peopleH5971 who had beenH183 greedyH183. 35From Kibroth-hattaavahH6914 28the peopleH5971 setH5265 outH5265 for HazerothH2698, and they 29remainedH1961 at HazerothH2698.
