1Now 1the lotH1486 for the tribeH4294 of the sonsH1121 of JudahH3063 according to their familiesH4940 2reachedH1961 the 3borderH1366 of EdomH112, southwardH5045 to the 4wildernessH4057 of ZinH6790 at the extremeH7097 southH8486. 2Their southernH5045 borderH1366 was from the lower endH7097 of the SaltH4417 SeaH3220, from the bayH3956 that turnsH6437 to the southH5045. 3Then it proceededH3318 southwardH5045 to the ascentH4610 ofH4610 AkrabbimH4610 and continuedH5674 to ZinH6790, then wentH5927 upH5927 by the southH5045 of Kadesh-barneaH6947 and continuedH5674 to HezronH2696, and wentH5927 upH5927 to AddarH146 and turnedH5437 to KarkaH7173. 4It 5continuedH5674 to AzmonH6111 and proceededH3318 to the 67brookH5158 of EgyptH4714, and the 8borderH1366 endedH1961H8444 at the seaH3220. ThisH2088 shall be your southernH5045 borderH1366. 5The 9easternH6924 borderH1366 was the SaltH4417 SeaH3220, as farH5704 as the 10mouthH7097 of the JordanH3383. And the 11borderH1366 of the northH6828 sideH6285 was from the bayH3956 of the seaH3220 at the 12mouthH7097 of the JordanH3383. 6Then the borderH1366 wentH5927 upH5927 to Beth-hoglahH1031, and continuedH5674 on the northH6828 of Beth-arabahH1026, and the borderH1366 wentH5927 upH5927 to the stoneH68 of BohanH932 the sonH1121 of ReubenH7205. 7And the borderH1366 wentH5927 upH5927 to DebirH1688 from 13the ValleyH6010 of AchorH5911, and turnedH6437 northwardH6828 towardH413 GilgalH1537 whichH834 is oppositeH5227 the ascentH4608 of AdummimH131, whichH834 is on the southH5045 of the valleyH5158; and the borderH1366 continuedH5674 to the watersH4325 of En-shemeshH5885 and 14it endedH1961H8444 at En-rogelH5883. 8Then the borderH1366 wentH5927 upH5927 the ValleyH1516 of Ben-hinnomH1121H2011 to the slopeH3802 of the 15JebusiteH2983 on the southH5045 (that is, JerusalemH3389); and the borderH1366 wentH5927 upH5927 to the topH7218 of the mountainH2022 whichH834 is oppositeH5921H6440 the ValleyH1516 of HinnomH2011 to the westH3220, whichH834 is at the endH7097 of the ValleyH6010 of RephaimH7497 toward the northH6828. 9And from the topH7218 of the mountainH2022 the borderH1366 turnedH8388 to the springH4599 of the watersH4325 of NephtoahH5318 and proceededH3318 to the citiesH5892 of MountH2022 EphronH6085, then the borderH1366 turnedH8388 to 16BaalahH1173 (that is, 17Kiriath-jearimH7157). 10The borderH1366 turnedH5437 from BaalahH1173 westwardH3220 to MountH2022 SeirH8165, and continuedH5674 to the slopeH3802 of MountH2022 JearimH3297 on the northH6828 (that is, ChesalonH3693), and wentH3381 downH3381 to Beth-shemeshH1053 and continuedH5674 throughH5674 18TimnahH8553. 11Then the borderH1366 proceededH3318 to the sideH3802 of EkronH6138 northwardH6828. And the borderH1366 turnedH8388 to ShikkeronH7942 and continuedH5674 to MountH2022 BaalahH1173 and proceededH3318 to JabneelH2995, and the 19borderH1366 endedH1961H8444 at the seaH3220. 12The westernH3220 borderH1366 was 20at the GreatH1419 SeaH3220, even its 21coastlineH1366. ThisH2088 is the borderH1366 aroundH5439 the sonsH1121 of JudahH3063 according to their familiesH4940.
13Now 22he gaveH5414 to CalebH3612 the sonH1121 of JephunnehH3312 a portionH2506 23amongH8432 the sonsH1121 of JudahH3063, inH413 accordanceH413 withH413 the 24commandH6310 of the LordH3068 to JoshuaH3091, namely, 25Kiriath-arbaH7153, Arba being the fatherH1 of AnakH6061 (that is, HebronH2275). 14And 26CalebH3612 27droveH3423 outH3423 from thereH8033 the threeH7969 28sonsH1121 of AnakH6061: SheshaiH8344, AhimanH289, and TalmaiH8526, the childrenH3211 of AnakH6061. 15Then 29he wentH5927 upH5927 from thereH8033 againstH413 the inhabitantsH3427 of DebirH1688; now the nameH8034 of DebirH1688 previouslyH6440 was Kiriath-sepherH7158. 16And CalebH3612 saidH559, “The one whoH834 30attacksH5221 Kiriath-sepherH7158 and capturesH3920 it, 31I will giveH5414 him AchsahH5915 my daughterH1323 as a wifeH802.” 1732OthnielH6274 the sonH1121 of KenazH7073, the brotherH251 of CalebH3612, capturedH3920 it; so he gaveH5414 him AchsahH5915 his daughterH1323 as a wifeH802. 1833And it happenedH1961 that when she cameH935 to him, she incitedH5496 him to askH7592 her fatherH1 for a fieldH7704. So she dismountedH6795 from the donkeyH2543, and CalebH3612 saidH559 to her, “WhatH4100 do you want?” 19Then she saidH559, “GiveH5414 me a blessingH1293; sinceH3588 you have givenH5414 me the landH776 of the 34NegevH5045, giveH5414 me springsH1543 of waterH4325 also.” So he gaveH5414 her the upperH5942 springsH1543 and the lowerH8482 springsH1543.
