And His 4voiceH6963 was like the soundH6963 of manyH7227 watersH4325; and the earthH776 5shoneH215 from His gloryH3519. 3And it was like the appearanceH4758 of the visionH4758 whichH834 I sawH7200, like the 6visionH4758 whichH834 I sawH7200 when 7He cameH935 to 8destroyH7843 the cityH5892. And the visionsH4759 were like the visionH4758 whichH834 I sawH7200 by the 9riverH5104 ChebarH3529; and I 10fellH5307 on my faceH6440. 4And the gloryH3519 of the LordH3068 enteredH935 the houseH1004 by wayH1870 of the gateH8179 facingH6440H1870 11eastH6921. 5And the 12SpiritH7307 liftedH5375 me upH5375 and broughtH935 me into the innerH6442 courtyardH2691; and beholdH2009, the 13gloryH3519 of the LordH3068 filledH4390 the houseH1004.

6Then I heardH8085 Him speakingH1696 to me from the houseH1004, while a 14manH376 was standingH5975 besideH681 me. 7And He saidH559 to me, “SonH1121 of manH120, this is the placeH4725 of My 15throneH3678 and the placeH4725 of the solesH3709 of My feetH7272, whereH834H8033 I will 16dwellH7931 amongH8432 the sonsH1121 of IsraelH3478 foreverH5769. And the houseH1004 of IsraelH3478 will not againH5750 defileH2930 My holyH6944 nameH8034, neither they norH3808 their kingsH4428, by their prostitutionH2184 and by the 1718corpsesH6297 of their kingsH4428 19when they dieH4194, 8by puttingH5414 their thresholdH5592 by My thresholdH5592, and their doorH4201 postH4201 besideH681 My doorH4201 postH4201, with only the wallH7023 betweenH996 Me and them. And they have 20defiledH2930 My holyH6944 nameH8034 by their abominationsH8441 whichH834 they have committedH6213. So I have consumedH3615 them in My angerH639. 9NowH6258 let them 21removeH7368 their prostitutionH2184 and the 22corpsesH6297 of their kingsH4428 farH7368 from Me, and I will 23dwellH7931 amongH8432 them foreverH5769.

10“As for you, sonH1121 of manH120, 24informH5046 the house of Israel of the 25templeH1004, so that they will be 26ashamedH3637 of their wrongdoingsH5771; and have them measureH4058 the 2728planH8508. 11And ifH518 they are ashamedH3637 of everythingH3605 that they have doneH6213, makeH3045 knownH3045 to them the planH6699 of the houseH1004, its layoutH8499, its 29exitsH4161, its entrancesH4126, allH3605 its plansH6699, allH3605 its 30statutesH2708, and allH3605 its lawsH8451. And writeH3789 it 31in their sightH5869, so that they may observeH8104 its entireH3605 planH6699 and allH3605 its statutesH2708 and 32executeH6213 them. 12ThisH2088 is the 33lawH8451 of the houseH1004: its entireH3605 34areaH1366 on the topH7218 of the 35mountainH2022 allH5439 aroundH5439 shall be mostH6944 holyH6944. BeholdH2009, thisH2088 is the 36lawH8451 of the houseH1004.

The Altar of Sacrifice

13“And theseH428 are the measurementsH4060 of the 37altarH4196 by cubitsH520 (the 38cubitH520 being a 39cubitH520 and a handH2948 widthH2948): the 40baseH2436 shall be a cubitH520 and the widthH7341 a cubitH520, and its borderH1366 on its edgeH8193 allH5439 aroundH5439 oneH259 spanH2239; and thisH2088 shall be the height of the 41baseH1354 of the altarH4196. 14And from the baseH2436 on the groundH776 to the lowerH8481 42ledgeH5835 shall be twoH8147 cubitsH520, and the widthH7341 one cubitH520; and from the smallerH6996 ledgeH5835 to the largerH1419 ledgeH5835 shall be fourH702 cubitsH520, and the widthH7341 43oneH259 cubitH520. 15The 44altarH741 hearthH741 shall be fourH702 cubitsH520; and from the 45altarH741 hearthH741 shall extend upwardH4605 fourH702 46hornsH7161. 16Now the 47altarH741 hearthH741 shall be twelveH8147H6240 cubits longH753 by twelveH8147H6240 wideH7341, 48squareH7251 in its fourH702 sidesH7253. 17And the ledgeH5835 shall be fourteenH702H6240 cubits longH753 by fourteenH702H6240 wideH7341 in its fourH702 sidesH7253, the borderH1366 aroundH5439 it shall be halfH2677 a cubitH520, and its baseH2436 shall be a cubitH520 allH5439 aroundH5439; and its 49stepsH4609 shall 5051faceH6437 eastH6921.”

The Offerings

18And He saidH559 to me, “52SonH1121 of manH120, thisH3541 isH3541 whatH3541 the LordH136 53GodH3068 saysH559: ‘TheseH428 are the statutesH2708 for the altarH4196 on the dayH3117 it is builtH6213, to offerH5927 54burntH5930 offeringsH5930 on it and to 55sprinkleH2236 bloodH1818 on it. 19You shall giveH5414 to the LeviticalH3881 priestsH3548 whoH834 are from the descendantsH2233 of 56ZadokH6659, who comeH7131 57nearH7138 to Me to serveH8334 Me,’ declaresH5002 the LordH136 GodH3068, ‘a 5859bullH6499H1121H1241 as a 60sinH2403 offeringH2403. 20And you shall takeH3947 someH4480 of its bloodH1818 and putH5414 it on its fourH702 61hornsH7161 and on the fourH702 cornersH6438 of the 62ledgeH5835, and on the borderH1366 allH5439 aroundH5439; so you shall 63cleanseH2398 it and makeH3722 atonementH3722 for it. 21You shall also takeH3947 the bullH6499 as the sinH2403 offeringH2403, and it shall be 64burnedH8313 in the appointedH4662 placeH4662 of the houseH1004, outsideH4480H2351 the sanctuaryH4720.

22‘And on the secondH8145 dayH3117 you shall offerH7126 a 65maleH8163 goatH5795 withoutH8549 blemishH8549 as a sinH2403 offeringH2403, and they shall 66cleanseH2398 the altarH4196 fromH2398 sinH2398 as they cleansedH2398 it with the bullH6499. 23When you have finishedH3615 cleansingH2398 it, you shall offerH7126 a 6768bullH6499H1121H1241 withoutH8549 blemishH8549 and a 69ramH352 withoutH8549 blemishH8549 from the flockH6629. 24You shall offerH7126 them beforeH6440 the LordH3068, and the priestsH3548 shall throwH7993 70saltH4417 on them, and they shall offerH5927 them upH5927 as a burntH5930 offeringH5930 to the LordH3068. 2571For sevenH7651 daysH3117 you shall prepareH6213 a goatH8163 as a sinH2403 offeringH2403 dailyH3117; also a 72bullH6499H1121H1241 and a ramH352 from the flockH6629, both withoutH8549 blemishH8549, shall be preparedH6213. 26For sevenH7651 daysH3117 they shall makeH3722 atonementH3722 for the altarH4196 and purifyH2891 it; so shall they 73consecrateH4390H3027 it. 27When they have completedH3615 the daysH3117, it shall be that on the 74eighthH8066 dayH3117 and onwardH1973, the priestsH3548 shall 75offerH6213 your burntH5930 offeringsH5930 on the altarH4196, and your 76peaceH8002 offeringsH8002; and I will 77acceptH7521 you,’ declaresH5002 the LordH136 GodH3068.”
