Song of Songs 2:11-17

For behold, the winter is past, The rain is over and gone.12The blossoms have already appeared in the land; The time has arrived for 1pruning the vines, And the voice of the 2turtledove has been heard in our land.13The 3fig tree has ripened its fruit, And the 4vines in blossom have given forth their fragrance. Arise, my darling, my beautiful one, And come along!’”

“5My dove, 6in the clefts of the 7rock, In the hiding place of the mountain pathway, Let me see 8how you look, 9Let me hear your voice; For your voice is pleasant, And 10you look 11delightful.”

“12Catch the 13foxes for us, The 14little 15foxes that are ruining the vineyards, While our 16vineyards are in blossom.”

“17My beloved is mine, and I am his; He 18pastures his flock among the lilies.17 19Until the cool of the day, when the shadows flee, Turn, my beloved, and be like a 20gazelle Or a young stag 21on the mountains of 22Bether.”
