Romans 3:21-28
21But now apart 1from the Law 2the righteousness of God has been revealed, being 3witnessed by the 4Law and the Prophets, 22but it is the 5righteousness of God through 6faith 7in Jesus Christ for 8all those 9who believe; for 10there is no distinction, 23for all 1112have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24being justified as a gift 13by His grace through 14the redemption which is in Christ Jesus, 25whom God displayed publicly as 15a 16propitiation 1718in His blood through faith. This was to demonstrate His righteousness, 19because in God’s merciful 20restraint He 21let the sins previously committed go unpunished; 26for the demonstration, that is, of His righteousness at the present time, so that He would be just and the justifier of the one who 22has faith in Jesus.
27Where then is 23boasting? It has been excluded. By 24what kind of law? Of works? No, but by a law of faith. 2825For 26we maintain that a person is justified by faith apart from works 27of the Law.
