Romans 2:2-16

2And we know that the judgment of God 1rightly falls upon those who practice such things. 3But do you suppose this, 23you foolish person who passes judgment on those who practice such things, and yet does them as well, that you will escape the judgment of God? 4Or do you think lightly of 4the riches of His 5kindness and 67restraint and 8patience, not knowing that the kindness of God leads you to repentance? 5But 9because of your stubbornness and unrepentant heart 10you are storing up wrath for yourself 11on the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God, 612who will repay each person according to his deeds: 7to those who by 13perseverance in doing good seek 14glory, honor, and 15immortality, He will give 16eternal life; 8but to those who are 17self-serving and 18do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, He will give wrath and indignation. 9There will be 19tribulation and distress 20for every soul of mankind who does evil, 21for the Jew 22first and also 23for the Greek, 10but 24glory, honor, and peace to everyone who does what is good, to the Jew 25first and also to the Greek. 11For 26there is no partiality with God.

12For all who have sinned 2728without the Law will also perish 29without the Law, and all who have sinned 30under the Law will be judged 31by the Law; 13for it is 32not the hearers 33of the Law who are 34righteous before God, but the doers 35of the Law who will be justified. 14For when Gentiles who do not have 36the Law 3738instinctively perform the requirements of the Law, these, though not having 39the Law, are a law to themselves, 15in that they show 40the work of the Law written in their hearts, their conscience testifying and their thoughts alternately accusing or else defending them, 16on the day when, 41according to my gospel, 42God will judge the secrets of mankind through Christ Jesus.
