Obadiah 1:11-16

11On the day that you 1stood aloof, On the day that strangers carried off his wealth, And foreigners entered his gate And 2cast lots for Jerusalem-- 3You too were as one of them.12 4Do not 5gloat over your brother’s day, The day of his misfortune. And 6do not rejoice over the sons of Judah On the day of their destruction; Yes, 7do not 8boast On the day of their distress.13Do not enter the gate of My people On the 9day of their disaster. You indeed, do not 10gloat over their catastrophe On the day of their disaster. And do not 11lay a hand on their wealth On the day of their disaster.14Do not 12stand at the crossroads To eliminate their survivors; And do not hand over their refugees On the day of their distress.

15“For the 13day of the Lord is near for all the nations. 14Just as you have done, it will be done to you. Your 15dealings will return on your own head.16For just as you 16drank on 17My holy mountain, All the nations 18will drink continually. They will drink 19to the last drop, And become as if they had never existed.
