Jeremiah 6:4-7

4‘12Prepare for war against her; Arise, and let’s 3attack at 4noon. Woe to us, for the day declines, For the shadows of the evening lengthen!5Arise, and let’s 5attack by night And 6destroy her 7palaces!’”6For this is what the Lord of armies says: “8Cut down her trees And pile up an 9assault ramp against Jerusalem. This is the city to be punished, In whose midst there is only 10oppression.711As a well 12keeps its waters fresh, So she 13keeps fresh her wickedness. 14Violence and destruction are heard in her; 15Sickness and wounds are constantly before Me.
