Isaiah 7:10-14
Then the Lord spoke again to Ahaz, saying,
“Ask for a 1sign for yourself from the Lord your God; 2make it deep as Sheol or high as 3heaven.”
But Ahaz said, “I will not ask, nor will I put the Lord to the test!”
Then he said, “Listen now, 4house of David! Is it too trivial a thing for you to 5try the patience of men, that you will 67try the patience of 8my God as well?
Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, 9the 10virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and she will name Him 1112Immanuel.
