Isaiah 64:8-12
8But now, Lord, 1You are our Father; We are the 2clay, and You our potter, And all of us are the 3work of Your hand.9Do not be 4angry beyond measure, Lord, 5Nor remember wrongdoing forever. Behold, please look, all of us are 6Your people.10Your 7holy cities have become a 8wilderness, Zion has become a wilderness, Jerusalem a desolation.11Our holy and beautiful 9house, Where our fathers praised You, Has been burned by fire; And 10all our precious things have become a ruin.12Will You 11restrain Yourself at these things, Lord? Will You keep silent and afflict us beyond measure?
