Isaiah 59:15-19

15Truth is lacking, And one who turns aside from evil 1makes himself a prey. Now the Lord saw, And it was 2displeasing in His sight 3that there was no justice.16And He saw that there was 4no one, And was amazed that there was not one to intercede; Then His 5own arm brought salvation to Him, And His righteousness upheld Him.17He put on 6righteousness like a breastplate, And a 7helmet of salvation on His head; And He put on 8garments of vengeance for clothing And wrapped Himself with 9zeal as a cloak.1810According to their deeds, 11so will He repay: Wrath to His adversaries, 12retribution to His enemies; To the coastlands He will 13deal 14retribution.19So they will fear the name of the Lord from the 15west And His glory from the 16rising of the sun, For He will 17come like a 18rushing stream Which the wind of the Lord drives.
