Isaiah 42:4-9

4He will not be 1disheartened or crushed Until He has established justice on the earth; And the 2coastlands will wait expectantly for His 3law.”

5This is what God the Lord says, Who 4created the heavens and 5stretched them out, Who spread out the 6earth and its 7offspring, Who 8gives breath to the people on it And spirit to those who walk in it:6“I am the Lord, I have 9called You in righteousness, I will also 10hold You by the hand and 11watch over You, And I will appoint You as a 12covenant to the people, As a 13light to the nations,7To 14open blind eyes, To 15bring out prisoners from the dungeon And those who dwell in darkness from the prison.816I am the Lord, that is 17My name; I will not give My 18glory to another, Nor My praise to idols.9Behold, the 19former things have come to pass, Now I declare 20new things; Before they sprout I proclaim them to you.”
