Isaiah 38:16-20
16Lord, 1by these things people live, And in all these is the life of my spirit; 23Restore me to health and 4let me live!17Behold, for my own welfare I had great bitterness; But You have 56kept my soul from the pit of 7nothingness, For You have 8hurled all my sins behind Your back.18For 9Sheol cannot thank You, Death cannot praise You; Those who go down 10to the pit cannot hope for Your faithfulness.19It is the 11living who give thanks to You, as I do today; A 12father tells his sons about Your faithfulness.20The Lord is certain to save me; So we will 13play my songs on stringed instruments 14All the days of our life 15at the house of the Lord.”
