Isaiah 34:1-4
1Come near, 1you nations, to hear; and listen, you peoples! 2Let the earth and 3all it contains hear, and the world and all that springs from it.2For the Lord’s 4anger is against all the nations, And His wrath against all their armies. He has 56utterly destroyed them, He has turned them over to 7slaughter.3So their slain will be 8thrown out, And their corpses 9will give off their 10stench, And the mountains will 11be drenched with their 12blood.4And 13all the heavenly 14lights will 15wear away, And the 16sky will be rolled up like a scroll; All its 17lights will also wither away As a leaf withers from the vine, Or as one withers from the fig tree.
