Hebrews 9:24-28

24For Christ 1did not enter a holy place made by hands, a mere copy of 2the true one, but into 3heaven itself, now 4to appear in the presence of God for us;

25nor was it that He would offer Himself often, as 5the high priest enters 6the Holy Place 7year by year with blood that is not his own.

26Otherwise, He would have needed to suffer often since 8the foundation of the world; but now 9once at 10the consummation of the ages He has been 11revealed to put away sin 12 13by the sacrifice of Himself.

27And just as 14it is destined for people to die once, and after this 15comes judgment,

28so Christ also, having been 16offered once to 17bear the sins of many, will appear 18a second time for 19salvation 20without reference to sin, to those who 21eagerly await Him.
