Hebrews 9:24-28
For Christ 1did not enter a holy place made with hands, a mere copy of 2the true one, but into 3heaven itself, now 4to appear in the presence of God for us;
nor was it that He would offer Himself often, as 5the high priest enters 6the holy place 7year by year with blood that is not his own.
Otherwise, He would have needed to suffer often since 8the foundation of the world; but now 9once at 10the consummation of the ages He has been 11manifested to put away sin 1213by the sacrifice of Himself.
And inasmuch as 14it is 15appointed for men to die once and after this 16comes judgment,
so Christ also, having been 17offered once to 18bear the sins of many, will appear 19a second time for 20salvation 21without reference to sin, to those who 22eagerly await Him.
