Hebrews 5:8-14

8Although He was 1a Son, He learned 2obedience from the things which He suffered. 9And having been 3perfected, He became the source of eternal salvation for all those who obey Him, 10being designated by God as 4High Priest according to 5the order of Melchizedek.

11Concerning 6him we have much to say, and it is difficult to explain, since you have become 7poor listeners. 12For though 8by this time you ought to be teachers, you have need again for someone to teach you 9the 1011elementary principles of the 12actual words of God, and you have come to need 13milk and not solid food. 13For everyone who partakes only of milk is unacquainted with the word of righteousness, for he is an 14infant. 14But solid food is for 15the mature, who because of practice have their senses 16trained to 17distinguish between good and evil.
