Hebrews 5:1-4

1For every high priest 1taken from among men is appointed on behalf of people in 2things pertaining to God, in order to 3offer both gifts and sacrifices 4for sins; 256he can deal gently with the 7ignorant and 8misguided, since he himself also is 910clothed in weakness; 3and because of it he is obligated to offer sacrifices 11for sins for himself, 12as well as for the people. 4And 13no one takes the honor for himself, but receives it when he is called by God, just 14as Aaron also was.
