Hebrews 13:3-22
31Remember 2the prisoners, as though in prison with them, and those who are badly treated, since you yourselves also are in the body. 43Marriage is to be held in honor among all, and the marriage bed is to be undefiled; 4for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers. 5Make sure that your character is 5free from the love of money, 6being content with what you have; for He Himself has said, “7I will never desert you, nor will I ever abandon you,” 6so that we confidently say, “8The Lord is my helper, I will not be afraid. What will man do to me?”
7Remember 9those who led you, who spoke 10the word of God to you; and considering the 11result of their way of life, 12imitate their faith. 813Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today, and forever. 914Do not be misled by varied and strange teachings; for it is good for the heart to 15be strengthened by grace, not by 16foods, 17through which those who 18were so occupied were not benefited. 10We have an altar 19from which those 20who serve the 21tabernacle have no right to eat. 11For 22the bodies of those animals whose blood is brought into the Holy Place by the high priest as an offering for sin are burned outside the camp. 12Therefore Jesus also suffered 23outside the gate, 24that He might sanctify the people 25through His own blood. 13So then, let us go out to Him outside the camp, 26bearing His reproach. 14For here 27we do not have a lasting city, but we are seeking 28the city which is to come. 1529Through Him then, let’s continually offer up a 30sacrifice of praise to God, that is, 31the fruit of lips praising His name. 16And do not neglect doing good and 32sharing, for 33with such sacrifices God is pleased.
1734Obey your leaders and submit to them--for 35they keep watch over your souls as those who will give an account--so that they may do this with joy, not 36groaning; for this would be unhelpful for you.
1837Pray for us, for we are sure that we have a 38good conscience, desiring to conduct ourselves honorably in all things. 19And I urge you all the more to do this, 39so that I may be restored to you more quickly.
20Now may 40the God of peace, who 41brought up from the dead the 42great Shepherd of the sheep 43through 44the blood of the 45eternal covenant, that is, Jesus our Lord, 2146equip you in every good thing to do His will, 47working in us that 48which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, 49to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen.
22But 50I urge you, 51brothers and sisters, 52listen patiently to 53this 54word of exhortation, for 55I have written to you briefly.
