Genesis 11:7-9
7Come, 12let Us go down and there 3confuse their 4language, so that they will not understand one another’s 5speech.” 8So the Lord 6scattered them abroad from there over the face of all the earth; and they stopped building the city. 9Therefore it was named 78Babel, because there the Lord confused the 9language of all the earth; and from there the Lord scattered them abroad over the face of all the earth.
