Ephesians 5:9-16

9(for 1the fruit of the light consists in all 2goodness, righteousness, and truth), 10 3 4as you try to learn what is pleasing to the Lord. 11 5Do not participate in the useless 6deeds of 7darkness, but instead even 8expose them; 12for it is disgraceful even to speak of the things which are done by them in secret. 13But all things become visible 9when they are exposed by the light, for everything that becomes visible is light. 14For this reason 10it says, “11Awake, sleeper, And arise from 12the dead, And Christ 13will shine on you.”

15So then, 14be careful how you 15walk, not 16as unwise people but as wise, 16 17 18making the most of your time, because 19the days are evil.
