Ephesians 5:7-14

7Therefore do not become 1partners with them; 8for 2you were once 3darkness, but now you are light in the Lord; walk as 4children of light 9(for 5the fruit of the light consists in all 6goodness, righteousness, and truth), 10 7 8as you try to learn what is pleasing to the Lord. 11 9Do not participate in the useless 10deeds of 11darkness, but instead even 12expose them; 12for it is disgraceful even to speak of the things which are done by them in secret. 13But all things become visible 13when they are exposed by the light, for everything that becomes visible is light. 14For this reason 14it says, “15Awake, sleeper, And arise from 16the dead, And Christ 17will shine on you.”
