Ephesians 4:15-25
15but 1speaking the truth 2in love, 3we are to 4grow up in all aspects into Him who is the 5head, that is, Christ, 16from whom 6the whole body, being fitted and held together 7by what every joint supplies, according to the 8proper working of each individual part, causes the growth of the body for the building up of itself 9in love.
1710So I say this, and affirm in the Lord, 11that you are to no longer walk just as the 12Gentiles also walk, in the 13futility of their minds, 18being 14darkened in their understanding, 1516excluded from the life of God because of the 17ignorance that is in them, because of the 18hardness of their heart; 19and they, having 19become callous, 20have given themselves up to 21indecent behavior 22for the practice of every kind of impurity with greediness. 20But you did not 23learn Christ in this way, 21if indeed you 24have heard Him and have 25been taught in Him, just as truth is in Jesus, 22that, in reference to your former way of life, you are to 26rid yourselves of the 27old 28self, which is being corrupted in accordance with the 29lusts of deceit, 23and that you are to be 30renewed in the spirit of your minds, 24and to 31put on the 32new 33self, which 3435in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of the truth.
25Therefore, 36ridding yourselves of falsehood, 37speak truth each one of you with his neighbor, because we are 38parts of one another.
