Ephesians 4:15-25
15but 1speaking the truth 2in love, 3we are to 4grow up in all aspects into Him who is the 5head, even Christ, 16from whom 6the whole body, being fitted and held together 7by what every joint supplies, according to the 8proper working of each individual part, causes the growth of the body for the building up of itself 9in love.
1710So this I say, and affirm together with the Lord, 11that you walk no longer just as the Gentiles also walk, in the 12futility of their mind, 18being 13darkened in their understanding, 1415excluded from the life of God because of the 16ignorance that is in them, because of the 17hardness of their heart; 19and they, having 18become callous, 19have given themselves over to 20sensuality 21for the practice of every kind of impurity with greediness. 20But you did not 22learn 23Christ in this way, 21if indeed you 24have heard Him and have 25been taught in Him, just as truth is in Jesus, 22that, in reference to your former manner of life, you 26lay aside the 27old 28self, which is being corrupted in accordance with the 29lusts of deceit, 23and that you be 30renewed in the spirit of your mind, 24and 31put on the 32new 33self, which 3435in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of the truth.
25Therefore, 36laying aside falsehood, 37speak truth each one of you with his neighbor, for we are 38members of one another.
