Ephesians 2:11-22
11Therefore remember that 1previously 2you, the Gentiles in the flesh, who are called “3Uncircumcision” by the so-called “4Circumcision” which is performed in the flesh by human hands--
12remember that you were at that time separate from Christ, 56excluded from 7the people of Israel, and strangers to 8the covenants of the promise, having 9no hope and 10without God in the world.
13But now in 11Christ Jesus you who 12previously were 13far away 14have 15been brought near 1617by the blood of Christ.
14For He Himself is 18our peace, 19who made both groups into one and broke down the 20barrier of the dividing wall,
1521by 22abolishing 23in His flesh the hostility, which is 24the Law composed of commandments expressed in ordinances, so that in Himself He might 2526make the two 27one new person, in this way establishing 28peace;
16and that He might 29reconcile them both in 30one body to God through the cross, 31by it having 32put to death the hostility.
17And 33He came and preached 34peace to you who were 35far away, and peace to those who were 36near;
18for through Him we both have 37our access in 38one Spirit to 39the Father.
19So then you are no longer 40strangers and foreigners, but you are 41fellow citizens with the 42saints, and are of 43God’s household,
20having been 44built on 45the foundation of 46the apostles and prophets, 47Christ Jesus Himself being the 48cornerstone,
2149in whom the whole building, being fitted together, is growing into 50a holy 51temple in the Lord,
22in whom you also are being 52built together into a 53dwelling of God in the Spirit.
