Ephesians 2:11-22
11Therefore remember that 1formerly 2you, the Gentiles in the flesh, who are called “3Uncircumcision” by the so-called “4Circumcision,” which is performed in the flesh by human hands--
12remember that you were at that time separate from Christ, 56excluded from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers to 7the covenants of promise, having 8no hope and 9without God in the world.
13But now in 10Christ Jesus you who 11formerly were 12far off 13have 14been brought near 1516by the blood of Christ.
14For He Himself is 17our peace, 18who made both groups into one and broke down the 19barrier of the dividing wall,
1520by 21abolishing in His flesh the enmity, which is 22the Law of commandments contained in ordinances, so that in Himself He might 2324make the two into 25one new man, thus establishing 26peace,
16and might 27reconcile them both in 28one body to God through the cross, 29by it having 30put to death the enmity.
17And 31He came and preached 32peace to you who were 33far away, and peace to those who were 34near;
18for through Him we both have 35our access in 36one Spirit to 37the Father.
19So then you are no longer 38strangers and aliens, but you are 39fellow citizens with the 40saints, and are of 41God’s household,
20having been 42built on 43the foundation of 44the apostles and prophets, 45Christ Jesus Himself being the 46corner stone,
2147in whom the whole building, being fitted together, is growing into 48a holy 49temple in the Lord,
22in whom you also are being 50built together into a 51dwelling of God in the Spirit.
