Colossians 3:5-15
51Therefore, 2treat 3the parts of your earthly body as dead to 4sexual immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and greed, which 5amounts to idolatry. 6For it is because of these things that 6the wrath of God is coming 7upon the 8sons of disobedience, 7and 9in them you also once walked, when you were living 10in them. 8But now you also, 11rid yourselves of all of them: 12anger, wrath, malice, slander, and 13obscene speech from your mouth. 91415Do not lie to one another, since you 16stripped off the old 17self with its evil practices, 10and have 18put on the new self, which is being 1920renewed to a true knowledge 21according to the image of the One who 22created it-- 11a renewal in which 23there is no distinction between Greek and Jew, 24circumcised and uncircumcised, 2526barbarian, 27Scythian, 28slave, and free, but 29Christ is all, and in all.
12So, as those who have been 30chosen of God, holy and beloved, 31put on a 32heart of compassion, kindness, 33humility, gentleness, and 3435patience; 1336bearing with one another, and 37forgiving each other, whoever has a complaint against anyone; 38just as the Lord forgave you, so must you do also. 14In addition to all these things put on love, which is 3940the perfect bond of 41unity. 15Let 42the peace of Christ, to which you were 43indeed called in 44one body, 45rule in your hearts; and 46be thankful.
