Colossians 4
1Masters, grant your slaves justice and fairness, 1knowing that you also have a Master in heaven.
22Devote yourselves to prayer, keeping alert in it with an attitude of thanksgiving; 3praying at the same time 3for us as well, that God will open up to us a 4door for 5the word, so that we may proclaim 6the mystery of Christ, for which I have also 7been imprisoned; 4that I may make it clear 8in the way that I ought to proclaim it.
5910Conduct yourselves with wisdom toward 11outsiders, 1213making the most of the opportunity. 614Your speech must always be 15with grace, as though seasoned with 16salt, so that you will know how you should 17respond to each person.
718As to all my affairs, 19Tychicus, our 20beloved brother and faithful servant and fellow bond-servant in the Lord, will bring you information. 821For I have sent him to you for this very purpose, that you may know about our circumstances and that he may 22encourage your hearts; 923and with him is 24Onesimus, our faithful and 25beloved brother, 26who is one of your own. They will inform you about the whole situation here.
1027Aristarchus, my 28fellow prisoner, sends you his greetings; and also 29Barnabas’ cousin Mark (about whom you received 30instructions; 31if he comes to you, welcome him); 11and also Jesus who is called Justus; these are the only 32fellow workers for the kingdom of God 33who are from the circumcision, and they have proved to be an encouragement to me. 1234Epaphras, 35who is one of your own, a bond-servant of Christ Jesus, sends you his greetings, always 36striving earnestly for you in his prayers, that you may 37stand 3839mature and 40fully assured in all the will of God. 13For I testify for him that he has 41a deep concern for you and for those who are in 42Laodicea and Hierapolis. 1443Luke, the beloved physician, sends you his greetings, and 44Demas does also. 15Greet the brothers and sisters who are in 45Laodicea and also 46Nympha and 47the church that is in 48her house. 1649When 50this letter is read among you, have it also read in the church of the Laodiceans; and you, for your part, 51read 52my letter that is coming from 53Laodicea. 17Tell 54Archippus, “See to the 55ministry which you have received in the Lord, so that you may 56fulfill it.”
1857I, Paul, 58write this greeting with my own hand. 59Remember my 6061imprisonment. 62Grace be with you.
