Colossians 1:19-29

19For 1it was 2the Father’s good pleasure for all 3the 4fullness to dwell in Him, 20and through Him to 5reconcile all things to Himself, 6whether things on earth or things in 7heaven, having made 8peace through 9the blood of His cross.

21And although you were 10previously alienated and hostile in attitude, engaged in evil deeds, 22yet He has now 11reconciled you in His 12body of flesh through death, in order to 13present you before Him 14holy and blameless and beyond reproach-- 23if indeed you continue in 15the faith firmly 16established and steadfast, and not shifting from the 17hope of the gospel that you have heard, which was proclaimed 18in all creation under heaven, 19and of which I, Paul, 20was made a 2122minister.

2423Now I rejoice in my sufferings for your sake, and in my flesh 24I am supplementing what is lacking 25in Christ’s afflictions in behalf of 26His body, which is the church. 2527I 28was made a minister of this church according to the 29commission from God granted to me for your benefit, so that I might 30fully carry out the preaching of the word of God, 26that is, 31the mystery which had been hidden from the past ages and generations, but now has been revealed to His 32saints, 27to whom 33God willed to make known what 34the wealth of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles is, the mystery that is 35Christ in you, the 36hope of glory. 28We proclaim Him, 37admonishing every person and teaching every person 38with all 39wisdom, so that we may 40present every person 4142complete in Christ. 29For this purpose I also 43labor, 44striving 45according to His 46power which 47works mightily within me.
