Colossians 1:19-29

19For 1it was 2the Father’s good pleasure for all 3the 4fullness to dwell in Him, 20and through Him to 5reconcile all things to Himself, having made 6peace through 7the blood of His cross; through Him, I say, 8whether things on earth or things in 9heaven.

21And although you were 10formerly alienated and hostile in mind, engaged in evil deeds, 22yet He has now 11reconciled you in His fleshly 12body through death, in order to 13present you before Him 14holy and blameless and beyond reproach-- 23if indeed you continue in 15the faith firmly 16established and steadfast, and not moved away from the 17hope of the gospel that you have heard, which was proclaimed 18in all creation under heaven, 19and of which I, Paul, 20was made a 2122minister.

2423Now I rejoice in my sufferings for your sake, and in my flesh 24I 25do my share on behalf of 26His body, which is the church, in filling up what is lacking 27in Christ’s afflictions. 2528Of this church I 29was made a minister according to the 30stewardship from God bestowed on me for your benefit, so that I might 31fully carry out the preaching of the word of God, 26that is, 32the mystery which has been hidden from the past ages and generations, but has now been manifested to His 33saints, 27to whom 34God willed to make known what is 35the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is 36Christ in you, the 37hope of glory. 28We proclaim Him, 38admonishing every man and teaching every man 39with all 40wisdom, so that we may 41present every man 4243complete in Christ. 29For this purpose also I 44labor, 45striving 46according to His 47power, which 48mightily works within me.
