Corinthians 8:2-5
that in a 1great ordeal of affliction their abundance of joy and their deep poverty overflowed in the 2wealth of their liberality.
For I testify that 3according to their ability, and beyond their ability, they gave voluntarily,
begging us with much urging for the 4favor 5of participation in the 67support of the 8saints,
and this, not as we had 9expected, but they first 10gave themselves to the Lord and to us by 11the will of God.
