2 Corinthians 2:6-11
6Sufficient for such a person is 1this punishment which was imposed by the majority, 7so that on the other hand, you should rather 2forgive and comfort him, otherwise such a person might be overwhelmed by excessive sorrow. 8Therefore I urge you to reaffirm your love for him. 9For to this end 3I also wrote, so that I might 45put you to the test, whether you are 6obedient in all things. 10But one whom you forgive anything, I also forgive; for indeed what I have forgiven, if I have forgiven anything, I did so for your sakes 7in the presence of Christ, 11so that no advantage would be taken of us by 8Satan, for 9we are not ignorant of his schemes.
