Daniel 2:10-13
10The ChaldeansH3779 answeredH6032 1the kingH4430 and saidH560, “ThereH383 is not a manH606 on earthH3007 whoH1768 couldH3202 declareH2331 the matterH4406 2for the kingH4430, inasmuchH3606H6903H1768 as noH3606H3809 greatH7229 kingH4430 or rulerH7990 has ever askedH7593 anythingH4406 like thisH1836 of anyH3606 34magicianH2749, conjurerH826 or ChaldeanH3779. 11Moreover, the thingH4406 whichH1768 the kingH4430 demandsH7593 is 5difficultH3358, and thereH383 is noH3809 oneH321 elseH321 whoH1768 could declareH2331 it 6to the kingH4430 exceptH3861 7godsH426, whoseH1768 8dwellingH4070 placeH4094 is not with mortal fleshH1321.”
12BecauseH3606H6903 of thisH1836 the kingH4430 becameH1149 9indignantH1149 and veryH7690 furiousH7108 and gaveH560 ordersH560 to destroyH7 allH3606 the wiseH2445 menH2445 of BabylonH895. 13So the 10decreeH1882 wentH5312 forthH5312 that the wiseH2445 menH2445 should be slainH6992; and they lookedH1156 for 11DanielH1841 and his friendsH2269 to 12killH6992 them.
