2“Whenכִּ֣יkiH3588a personנֶ֚פֶשׁNe.feshH5315sinsתֶחֱטָ֔אte.che.Ta'H2398and actsוּמָעֲלָ֥הu.ma.'a.LahH4603unfaithfullyמַ֖עַלMa.'alH4604against the Lordבַּיהוָ֑הba.Yah.wehH3068,and deceivesוְכִחֵ֨שׁve.khi.CheshH3584his companionבַּעֲמִית֜וֹba.'a.mi.ToH5997in regard to a depositבְּפִקָּד֗וֹןbe.fi.ka.DonH6487orאֽוֹ־'ov-H176a securityבִתְשׂ֤וּמֶתvit.Su.metH8667entrustedיָד֙yadH3027to him,orא֣וֹ'oH176through robberyבְגָזֵ֔לve.ga.ZelH1498,orא֖וֹ'oH176ifhe has extortedעָשַׁ֥ק'a.ShakH6231from his companionעֲמִיתֽוֹ׃a.mi.ToH5997,

3orאֽוֹ־'ov-H176has foundמָצָ֧אma.Tza'H4672whatH9was lostH9and liedוְכִ֥חֶשׁve.Khi.cheshH3584about it and swornוְנִשְׁבַּ֣עve.nish.Ba'H7650falselyשָׁ֑קֶרSha.kerH8267,so that he sinsלַחֲטֹ֥אla.cha.To'H2398in regardH5921to anyאַחַ֗ת'a.ChatH259oneמִכֹּ֛לmi.KolH3605of the things a manהָאָדָ֖םha.'a.DamH120may doיַעֲשֶׂ֥הya.'a.SehH6213;

4then it shall be, whenכִּֽי־ki-H3588he sinsיֶחֱטָ֣אye.che.Ta'H2398and becomesH816guiltyוְאָשֵׁם֒ve.'a.ShemH816, that he shallrestoreוְהֵשִׁ֨יבve.he.ShivH7725whatאֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834he tookH1497by robberyH1497orא֤וֹ'oH176whatאֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834he gotעָשָׁ֔ק'a.ShakH6231by extortionהָעֹ֙שֶׁק֙ha.'O.shekH6233,orא֚וֹ'oH176the depositהַפִּקָּד֔וֹןha.pi.ka.DonH6487whichאֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834wasentrustedהָפְקַ֖דha.fe.KadH6485to him orא֥וֹ'oH176the lostהָאֲבֵדָ֖הha.'a.ve.DahH9thingH9whichאֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834he foundמָצָֽא׃ma.Tza'H4672,

5orא֠וֹ'oH176anythingמִכֹּ֞לmi.KolH3605about whichאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834he sworeיִשָּׁבַ֣עyi.sha.Va'H7650falselyלַשֶּׁקֶר֒la.she.KerH8267;he shall makeH7999restitutionH7999for itin fullבְּרֹאשׁ֔וֹbe.ro.ShoH7218and addיֹסֵ֣ףyo.SefH3254to it one-fifthוַחֲמִשִׁתָ֖יוva.cha.mi.shi.TavH2549moreH3254.He shall giveיִתְּנֶ֖נּוּyi.te.Ne.nuH5414it to the one to whomלַאֲשֶׁ֨רla.'a.SherH834it belongs on the dayבְּי֥וֹםbe.YomH3117he presentshis guiltאַשְׁמָתֽוֹ׃'ash.ma.ToH819offeringH819.

6Then he shall bringיָבִ֖יאya.Vi'H935to the priestהַכֹּהֵֽן׃ha.ko.HenH3548his guiltאֲשָׁמ֥וֹ'a.sha.MoH817offeringלְאָשָׁ֖םle.'a.ShamH817to the Lordלַיהוָ֑הla.Yah.wehH3068,a ramאַ֣יִל'A.yilH352withoutH8549defectH8549from the flockהַצֹּ֛אןha.TzonH6629,according to your valuationבְּעֶרְכְּךָ֥be.'er.ke.KhaH6187,for a guiltH817offeringH817,

7andthe priestהַכֹּהֵ֛ןha.ko.HenH3548shall makeוְכִפֶּ֨רve.khi.PerH3722atonementH3722for him beforeH6440the LordH3068,and he will be forgivenוְנִסְלַ֣חve.nis.LachH5545for anyH259oneאַחַ֛ת'a.ChatH259of the things whichאֲשֶֽׁר־'a.Sher-H834he may have doneיַעֲשֶׂ֖הya.'a.SehH6213to incurH819guiltלְאַשְׁמָ֥הle.'ash.MahH819.”
