14Then the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068spokeוַיְדַבֵּ֥רvay.da.BerH1696to Mosesמֹשֶׁ֥הmo.ShehH4872,sayingלֵּאמֹֽר׃le.MorH559,

15“Ifכִּֽי־ki-H3588a personנֶ֚פֶשׁNe.feshH5315actsתִמְעֹ֣לtim.'OlH4603unfaithfullyמַ֔עַלMa.'alH4604and sinsוְחָֽטְאָה֙ve.cha.te.'AhH2398unintentionallyבִּשְׁגָגָ֔הbish.ga.GahH7684againstמִן־min-H4480the Lord’sיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068holyH6944thingsH6944,then he shall bringוְהֵבִיא֩ve.he.Vi'H935hisguiltאֲשָׁמ֨וֹ'a.sha.MoH817offeringלְאָשָֽׁם׃le.'a.ShamH817to the Lordלַֽיהוָ֜הla.Yah.wehH3068:a ramאַ֧יִל'A.yilH352withoutH8549defectH8549from the flockהַצֹּ֗אןha.TzonH6629,according to your valuationבְּעֶרְכְּךָ֛be.'er.ke.KhaH6187in silverכֶּֽסֶף־ke.sef-H3701by shekelsשְׁקָלִ֥יםshe.ka.LimH8255, in terms of theshekelבְּשֶֽׁקֶל־be.she.kel-H8255of the sanctuaryH6944,for a guiltH817offeringH817.

16He shall makeH7999restitutionH7999for that whichאֲשֶׁר֩'a.SherH834he has sinnedחָטָ֨אcha.Ta'H2398againstמִן־min-H4480the holyהַקֹּ֜דֶשׁha.Ko.deshH6944thingH6944,and shall addיוֹסֵ֣ףyo.SefH3254to it a fifthחֲמִֽישִׁתוֹ֙cha.mi.shi.ToH2549partH2549of it and giveוְנָתַ֥ןve.na.TanH5414it to the priestלַכֹּהֵ֑ןla.ko.HenH3548.The priestוְהַכֹּהֵ֗ןve.ha.ko.HenH3548shall then makeיְכַפֵּ֥רye.kha.PerH3722atonementH3722for him with the ramבְּאֵ֥ילbe.'EilH352of the guiltהָאָשָׁ֖םha.'a.ShamH817offeringH817,and it will be forgivenוְנִסְלַ֥חve.nis.LachH5545him.

17“Now ifוְאִם־ve.'im-H518a personנֶ֙פֶשׁ֙ne.feshH5315sinsתֶֽחֱטָ֔אte.che.Ta'H2398and doesוְעָֽשְׂתָ֗הve.'a.se.TahH6213anyאַחַת֙'a.ChatH259of the thingswhichאֲשֶׁ֖ר'a.SherH834the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068has commandedמִצְוֹ֣תmitz.VotH4687not to be doneתֵעָשֶׂ֑ינָהte.'a.Sei.nahH6213,though he was unawareיָדַ֥עya.Da'H3045 H3808,still he is guiltyוְאָשֵׁ֖םve.'a.ShemH816and shall bearוְנָשָׂ֥אve.na.Sa'H5375his punishmentעֲוֹנֽוֹ׃a.vo.NoH5771.

18He is then to bringוְ֠הֵבִיאVe.he.vi'H935to the priestהַכֹּהֵ֑ןha.ko.HenH3548a ramאַ֣יִל'A.yilH352withoutH8549defectH8549from the flockהַצֹּ֛אןha.TzonH6629,according to your valuationבְּעֶרְכְּךָ֥be.'er.ke.KhaH6187,for a guiltלְאָשָׁ֖םle.'a.ShamH817offeringH817.So the priestהַכֹּהֵ֜ןha.ko.HenH3548shall makeוְכִפֶּר֩ve.khi.PerH3722atonementH3722for him concerningH5921his errorH7684in whichאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834he sinnedשָׁגָ֛גsha.GagH7683unintentionallyH7684and did not knowיָדַ֖עya.Da'H3045it,and it will be forgivenוְנִסְלַ֥חve.nis.LachH5545him.

19It is a guiltאָשָׁ֖ם'a.ShamH817offeringH817;he was certainlyאָשֹׁ֥ם'a.ShomH816guiltyאָשַׁ֖ם'a.ShamH816before the Lordלַיהוָֽה׃ פla.Yah.wehH3068.”
