9For the Canaanitesהַֽכְּנַעֲנִ֗יha.ke.na.'a.NiH3669and allוְכֹל֙ve.KholH3605the inhabitantsיֹשְׁבֵ֣יyo.she.VeiH3427of the landהָאָ֔רֶץha.'A.retzH776will hearוְיִשְׁמְע֣וּve.yish.me.'UH8085of it, and they will surroundוְנָסַ֣בּוּve.na.Sa.buH5437us and cutוְהִכְרִ֥יתוּve.hikh.Ri.tuH3772offH3772our nameשְׁמֵ֖נוּshe.Me.nuH8034from the earthהָאָ֑רֶץha.'A.retzH776.And whatוּמַֽה־u.mah-H4100will You doתַּעֲשֵׂ֖הta.'a.SehH6213for Your greatהַגָּדֽוֹל׃ סha.ga.DolH1419nameלְשִׁמְךָ֥le.shim.KhaH8034?”

10So the Lordיְהוָ֛הYah.wehH3068saidוַיֹּ֧אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559to Joshuaיְהוֹשֻׁ֖עַye.ho.Shu.a'H3091, “Riseקֻ֣םkumH6965up! Whyלָ֣מָּהLa.mahH4100is it that you have fallenנֹפֵ֥לno.FelH5307on your faceפָּנֶֽיךָ׃pa.Nei.khaH6440?

11Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478has sinnedחָטָא֙cha.Ta'H2398, andthey have alsoH1571transgressedעָבְר֣וּ'a.ve.RuH5674My covenantבְּרִיתִ֔יbe.ri.TiH1285whichאֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834I commandedצִוִּ֖יתִיtzi.Vi.tiH6680them. And they have evenH1571takenלָֽקְחוּ֙la.ke.ChuH3947someמִן־min-H4480of the thingsהַחֵ֔רֶםha.Che.remH2764underH2764the banH2764and have bothH1571stolenגָּֽנְבוּ֙ga.ne.VuH1589and deceivedכִּֽחֲשׁ֔וּki.cha.ShuH3584.Moreover, they have alsoH1571putשָׂ֥מוּSa.muH7760themamong their own thingsבִכְלֵיהֶֽם׃vikh.lei.HemH3627.

12Therefore thesonsבְּנֵ֣יbe.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֗לYis.ra.'ElH3478cannotיֻכְל֜וּyukh.LuH3201 H3808standלָקוּם֙la.KumH6965beforeלִפְנֵ֣יlif.NeiH6440their enemiesH340;they turnיִפְנוּ֙yif.NuH6437theirbacksעֹ֗רֶף'O.refH6203beforeלִפְנֵ֣יlif.NeiH6440their enemiesH340,for they have becomeH1961accursedH2764.I will not be with you anymoreאוֹסִיף֙'o.SifH3254unlessאִם־'im-H518 H3808you destroyתַשְׁמִ֛ידוּtash.Mi.duH8045the thingsH2764underH2764the banH2764from your midstמִֽקִּרְבְּכֶֽם׃Mi.kir.be.KhemH7130.

14In the morningבַּבֹּ֖קֶרba.Bo.kerH1242then you shall comeH7126nearH7126by your tribesלְשִׁבְטֵיכֶ֑םle.shiv.tei.KhemH7626.And it shall be that the tribeהַשֵּׁבֶט֩ha.she.VetH7626whichאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834the Lordיְהוָ֜הYah.wehH3068takesיִלְכְּדֶ֨נּוּyil.ke.De.nuH3920by lotshall comeH7126nearH7126by familiesלַמִּשְׁפָּח֗וֹתla.mish.pa.ChotH4940,and the familyוְהַמִּשְׁפָּחָ֞הve.ha.mish.pa.ChahH4940whichאֲשֶֽׁר־'a.Sher-H834the Lordיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068takesיִלְכְּדֶ֤נָּהyil.ke.De.nahH3920shall comeH7126nearH7126by householdsלַבָּתִּ֔יםla.ba.TimH1004,and the householdוְהַבַּ֙יִת֙ve.ha.Ba.yitH1004whichאֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068takesיִלְכְּדֶ֣נּוּyil.ke.De.nuH3920shall comeH7126nearH7126manH1397by manH1397.

15It shall be that the one who is takenהַנִּלְכָּ֣דha.nil.KadH3920with the thingsבַּחֵ֔רֶםba.Che.remH2764underH2764the banH2764shall be burnedיִשָּׂרֵ֣ףyi.sa.RefH8313with fireבָּאֵ֔שׁba.'EshH784,he and allכָּל־kol-H3605that belongs to him, becauseכִּ֤יkiH3588he has transgressedעָבַר֙'a.VarH5674the covenantבְּרִ֣יתbe.RitH1285of the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068,and becauseוְכִֽי־ve.khi-H3588hehas committedעָשָׂ֥ה'a.SahH6213a disgracefulנְבָלָ֖הne.va.LahH5039thingH5039in Israelבְּיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃be.Yis.ra.'ElH3478.’”
