25I dugקַ֖רְתִּיKar.tiH6979wellsand drankוְשָׁתִ֣יתִיve.sha.Ti.tiH8354watersמָ֑יִםMa.yimH4325, Andwith the soleבְּכַף־be.khaf-H3709of my feetפְּעָמַ֔יpe.'a.MaiH6471I driedוְאַחְרִב֙ve.'ach.RivH2717upAllכֹּ֖לkolH3605the riversיְאֹרֵ֥יye.'o.ReiH2975ofEgyptמָצֽוֹר׃ma.TzorH4693.’

27Therefore their inhabitantsוְיֹֽשְׁבֵיהֶן֙ve.yo.she.vei.HenH3427were shortקִצְרֵי־kitz.rei-H7116of strengthיָ֔דYadH3027,They were dismayedחַ֖תּוּCha.tuH2865and putH954to shameH954; They were as thevegetationעֵ֤שֶׂב'E.sevH6212of the fieldשָׂדֶה֙sa.DehH7704and asthe greenוִ֣ירַקVi.rakH3419herbדֶּ֔שֶׁאDe.she'H1877, Asgrassחֲצִ֣ירcha.TzirH2682on the housetopsגַּגּ֔וֹתga.GotH1406is scorchedH7711beforeלִפְנֵ֥יlif.NeiH6440it is grownקָמָֽה׃ka.MahH7054up.

28But Iknowיָדָ֑עְתִּיya.Da.'e.tiH3045your sittingH3427downוְשִׁבְתְּךָ֛ve.shiv.te.KhaH3427And your goingוְצֵאתְךָ֥ve.tze.te.KhaH3318out and your comingוּבוֹאֲךָ֖u.vo.'a.KhaH935inAnd your ragingהִֽתְרַגֶּזְךָ֥hit.ra.gez.KhaH7264againstאֵלָֽי׃'e.LaiH413Me.

29Becauseיַ֚עַןYa.'anH3282of your ragingהִתְרַגֶּזְךָ֣hit.ra.gez.KhaH7264againstאֵלַ֔י'e.LaiH413Me And because yourarroganceוְשַׁאֲנַנְךָ֖ve.sha.'a.nan.KhaH7600has comeעָלָ֣ה'a.LahH5927up to My earsבְאָזְנָ֑יve.'a.ze.NaiH241,Therefore I will putוְשַׂמְתִּ֨יve.sam.TiH7760Myhookחַחִ֜יcha.ChiH2397in your noseבְּאַפֶּ֗ךָbe.'a.Pe.khaH639And Mybridleוּמִתְגִּי֙u.mit.GiH4964in your lipsבִּשְׂפָתֶ֔יךָbis.fa.Tei.khaH8193,And I will turnוַהֲשִׁ֣יבֹתִ֔יךָva.ha.Shi.vo.Ti.khaH7725you backH7725by the wayבַּדֶּ֖רֶךְba.De.rekhH1870whichאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834you cameבָּ֥אתָBa.taH935.

31ThesurvivingH7604remnantH7604of the houseבֵּית־beit-H1004of Judahיְהוּדָ֛הye.hu.DahH3063will againוְיָ֨סְפָ֜הve.Ya.se.FahH3254take rootשֹׁ֣רֶשׁSho.reshH8328downwardלְמָ֑טָּהle.Ma.tahH4295and bearוְעָשָׂ֥הve.'a.SahH6213fruitפְרִ֖יfe.RiH6529upwardלְמָֽעְלָה׃le.Ma.'e.lahH4605.

32For out of Jerusalemמִירֽוּשָׁלִַ֙ם֙mi.ru.sha.LimH3389will goתֵּצֵ֣אte.Tze'H3318forthH3318aremnantשְׁאֵרִ֔יתshe.'e.RitH7611and out of Mountמֵהַ֣רme.HarH2022Zionצִיּ֑וֹןtzi.YonH6726survivorsוּפְלֵיטָ֖הu.fe.lei.TahH6413. Thezealקִנְאַ֛תkin.'AtH7068of the Lordיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068of hostsצְבָא֖וֹתtze.va.'otH6635will performתַּֽעֲשֶׂה־ta.'a.seh-H6213thisH2088.”’

33“Thereforeלָכֵ֗ןla.KhenH3651,thusכֹּֽה־koh-H3541saysאָמַ֤ר'a.MarH559the Lordיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068concerningH413the kingמֶ֣לֶךְMe.lekhH4428of Assyriaאַשּׁ֔וּר'a.ShurH804, ‘He will not comeיָבוֹא֙ya.Vo'H935to thisH2088cityהָעִ֣ירha.'IrH5892or shootיוֹרֶ֥הyo.RehH3384an arrowחֵ֑ץChetzH2671thereשָׁ֖םshamH8033;and he will not comeH6923beforeH6923it with a shieldמָגֵ֔ןma.GenH4043,orH3808throwיִשְׁפֹּ֥ךְyish.PokhH8210up asiegeH5550rampH5550againstעֳלֶ֖יהָ'o.Lei.haH5921it.

34By the wayבַּדֶּ֥רֶךְba.De.rekhH1870that he cameבָּ֖אba'H935,by the same he will returnיָשׁ֑וּבya.ShuvH7725,and he will not comeיָב֖וֹאya.Vo'H935to thisH2088cityהָעִ֥ירha.'IrH5892,’declaresנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.

35‘For I willdefendוְגַנּוֹתִ֛יve.ga.no.TiH1598thisH2088cityהָעִ֥ירha.'IrH5892to saveלְהֽוֹשִׁיעָ֑הּle.ho.shi.'AhH3467itfor My own sakeלְמַֽעֲנִ֔יle.ma.'a.NiH4616and for My servantעַבְדִּֽי׃ ס'av.DiH5650David’sדָּוִ֥דda.VidH1732sakeוּלְמַ֖עַןu.le.Ma.'anH4616.’”
