13Then Hazaelחֲזָהאֵ֔לcha.za.h.'ElH2371saidוַיֹּ֣אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, “But whatמָ֤הmahH4100is your servantעַבְדְּךָ֙'av.de.KhaH5650, who is buta dogהַכֶּ֔לֶבha.Ke.levH3611,that he should doיַעֲשֶׂ֔הya.'a.SehH6213thisהַזֶּ֑הha.ZehH2088greatהַגָּד֖וֹלha.ga.DolH1419thingהַדָּבָ֥רha.da.VarH1697?”And Elishaאֱלִישָׁ֔ע'e.li.Sha'H477answeredוַיֹּ֣אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, “The Lordיְהוָ֛הYah.wehH3068has shownהִרְאַ֧נִיhir.'A.niH7200me that you will be kingמֶ֥לֶךְMe.lekhH4428overעַל־'al-H5921Aramאֲרָֽם׃'a.RamH758.”

14So he departedוַיֵּ֣לֶךְ׀vai.Ye.lekhH1980from Elishaאֱלִישָׁ֗ע'e.li.Sha'H477and returnedוַיָּבֹא֙vai.ya.Vo'H935to his masterאֲדֹנָ֔יו'a.do.NavH113,who saidוַיֹּ֣אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559to him, “Whatמָֽה־mah-H4100did Elishaאֱלִישָׁ֑ע'e.li.Sha'H477sayאָמַ֥ר'a.MarH559to you?” And heansweredוַיֹּ֕אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, “He toldאָ֥מַר'A.marH559me thatyou would surelyחָיֹ֥הcha.YohH2421recoverתִחְיֶֽה׃tich.YehH2421.”

15On the followingH4283dayמִֽמָּחֳרָ֗תmi.mo.cho.RatH4283,he tookוַיִּקַּ֤חvai.yi.KachH3947the coverH4345and dippedוַיִּטְבֹּ֣לvai.yit.BolH2881it in waterבַּמַּ֔יִםba.Ma.yimH4325and spreadוַיִּפְרֹ֥שׂvai.yif.RosH6566it on his faceפָּנָ֖יוpa.NavH6440,so that he diedוַיָּמֹ֑תvai.ya.MotH4191.And Hazaelחֲזָהאֵ֖לcha.za.h.'ElH2371becameH4427kingוַיִּמְלֹ֥ךְvai.yim.LokhH4427in his placeתַּחְתָּֽיו׃ פtach.TavH8478.
