6He broughtוַיָּבֵ֣אvai.ya.Ve'H935the letterהַסֵּ֔פֶרha.Se.ferH5612to the kingמֶ֥לֶךְMe.lekhH4428of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֖לYis.ra.'ElH3478,sayingלֵאמֹ֑רle.MorH559, “And nowוְעַתָּ֗הve.'a.TahH6258as thisהַזֶּה֙ha.ZehH2088letterהַסֵּ֤פֶרha.Se.ferH5612comesכְּב֨וֹאke.Vo'H935to you, beholdהִנֵּ֨הhi.NehH2009,I have sentשָׁלַ֤חְתִּיsha.Lach.tiH7971Naamanנַעֲמָ֣ןna.'a.ManH5283my servantעַבְדִּ֔י'av.DiH5650to you, that you may cureוַאֲסַפְתּ֖וֹva.'a.saf.ToH622him of his leprosyמִצָּרַעְתּֽוֹ׃mi.tza.ra'.ToH6883.”

7When the kingמֶֽלֶךְ־Me.lekh-H4428of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֨לYis.ra.'ElH3478readכִּקְרֹא֩kik.Ro'H7121the letterהַסֵּ֜פֶרha.Se.ferH5612,he toreוַיִּקְרַ֣עvai.yik.Ra'H7167his clothesבְּגָדָ֗יוbe.ga.DavH899and saidוַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙vai.Yo.merH559, “Am I Godהַאֱלֹהִ֥יםha.'E.lo.HimH430,to killלְהָמִ֣יתle.ha.MitH4191and to makeH2421aliveH2421,that thisזֶה֙zehH2088man is sendingשֹׁלֵ֣חַsho.Le.achH7971wordto me to cureלֶאֱסֹ֥ףle.'e.SofH622a manאִ֖ישׁ'ishH376of his leprosyמִצָּֽרַעְתּ֑וֹmi.tza.ra'.ToH6883? Butconsiderדְּעֽוּ־de.'u-H3045nowנָא֙na'H4994,and seeוּרְא֔וּu.re.'UH7200howH3588he is seekingH579a quarrelH579against me.”

8It happenedוַיְהִ֞יvay.HiH1961when Elishaאֱלִישָׁ֣ע'e.li.Sha'H477the manאִישׁ־'ish-H376of Godהָאֱלֹהִ֗יםha.'E.lo.HimH430heardכִּשְׁמֹ֣עַ׀kish.Mo.a'H8085that the kingמֶֽלֶךְ־Me.lekh-H4428of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵל֙Yis.ra.'ElH3478had tornקָרַ֤עka.Ra'H7167his clothesבְּגָדָ֔יוbe.ga.DavH899,that he sentוַיִּשְׁלַח֙vai.yish.LachH7971wordto the kingהַמֶּ֣לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428,sayingלֵאמֹ֔רle.MorH559, “Whyלָ֥מָּהLa.mahH4100have you tornקָרַ֖עְתָּka.Ra'.taH7167your clothesבְּגָדֶ֑יךָbe.ga.Dei.khaH899?Nowנָ֣אna'H4994let him comeיָבֹֽא־ya.vo'-H935to me, and he shall knowוְיֵדַ֕עve.ye.Da'H3045that thereיֵ֥שׁyeshH3426is a prophetנָבִ֖יאna.Vi'H5030in Israelבְּיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃be.Yis.ra.'ElH3478.”
