25Then it cameוַיְהִ֞יvay.HiH1961about, as soon as he had finishedכְּכַלֹּת֣וֹ׀ke.kha.lo.ToH3615offeringלַעֲשׂ֣וֹתla.'a.SotH6213the burntהָעֹלָ֗הha.'o.LahH5930offeringH5930,that Jehuיֵ֠הוּאYe.hu'H3058saidוַיֹּ֣אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559to theguardלָרָצִ֨יםla.ra.TzimH7323and to the royalH7991officersוְלַשָּׁלִשִׁ֜יםve.la.sha.li.ShimH7991, “Goבֹּ֤אוּBo.'uH935in,killהַכּוּם֙ha.KumH5221them; let noneאִ֣ישׁ אַל־'ish 'al-H376 H408comeיֵצֵ֔אye.Tze'H3318out.” And theykilledוַיַּכּ֖וּםvai.ya.KumH5221them with the edgeלְפִי־le.fi-H6310of the swordחָ֑רֶבCha.revH2719; and theguardהָֽרָצִים֙ha.ra.TzimH7323and the royalH7991officersוְהַשָּׁ֣לִשִׁ֔יםve.ha.Sha.li.ShimH7991threwוַיַּשְׁלִ֗כוּvai.yash.Li.khuH7993themout, and wentוַיֵּלְכ֖וּvai.ye.le.KhuH1980to theinnerH5892roomH5892of the houseבֵּית־beit-H1004of Baalהַבָּֽעַל׃ha.Ba.'alH1168.

26They broughtוַיֹּצִ֛אוּvai.yo.Tzi.'uH3318out the sacredpillarsמַצְּב֥וֹתma.tze.VotH4676of the houseבֵּית־beit-H1004of Baalהַבַּ֖עַלha.Ba.'alH1168and burnedוַֽיִּשְׂרְפֽוּהָ׃Vai.yis.re.Fu.haH8313them.

27They also brokeH5422downH5422the sacredpillarמַצְּבַ֣תma.tze.VatH4676of Baalהַבָּ֑עַלha.Ba.'alH1168and brokeH5422downH5422the houseבֵּ֣יתbeitH1004of Baalהַבַּ֔עַלha.Ba.'alH1168, andmadeוַיְשִׂמֻ֥הוּvay.si.Mu.huH7760it a latrineH4280to this dayהַיּֽוֹם׃hai.YomH3117.

28Thus Jehuיֵה֛וּאye.Hu'H3058eradicatedוַיַּשְׁמֵ֥דvai.yash.MedH8045Baalהַבַּ֖עַלha.Ba.'alH1168out of Israelמִיִּשְׂרָאֵֽל׃mi.Yis.ra.'ElH3478.

29HoweverH7534, as forthe sinsחֲטָאֵ֞יcha.ta.'EiH2399of Jeroboamיָרָבְעָ֤םya.ra.ve.'AmH3379the sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of Nebatנְבָט֙ne.VatH5028,whichH834he made Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478sinהֶחֱטִ֣יאhe.che.Ti'H2398,from these Jehuיֵה֖וּאye.Hu'H3058did not departסָ֥רsarH5493, even thegoldenהַזָּהָ֔בha.za.HavH2091calvesעֶגְלֵי֙'eg.LeiH5695that wereat BethelH1008and that wereat Danבְּדָֽן׃ סbe.DanH1835.
