Revelation 17:9-18

91Here is the mind which has wisdom. The 2seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman sits, 10and they are seven 3kings; five have fallen, one is, the other has not yet come; and when he comes, he must remain a little while. 11The beast which 4was and is not, is himself also an eighth and is one of the seven, and he 5goes to destruction. 12The 6ten horns which you saw are ten kings who have not yet received a kingdom, but they receive authority as kings with the beast 7for one hour. 13These have 8one 9purpose, and they give their power and authority to the beast. 14These will wage 10war against the Lamb, and the Lamb will 11overcome them, because He is 12Lord of lords and 13King of kings, and 14those who are with Him are the 15called and chosen and faithful.”

15And he said to me, “The 16waters which you saw where the harlot sits, are 17peoples and multitudes and nations and tongues. 16And the 18ten horns which you saw, and the beast, these will hate the harlot and will make her 19desolate and 20naked, and will 21eat her flesh and will 22burn her up with fire. 17For 23God has put it in their hearts to execute His 24purpose 25by 26having a common purpose, and by giving their kingdom to the beast, until the 27words of God will be fulfilled. 18The woman whom you saw is 28the great city, which 29reigns over the kings of the earth.”
